A singer with a little known Northern Ontario connection jammed on the Rock on the River stage.
Winner of Episode on of the TV show The Launch Logan Staats is started his summer tour rocking out in Timmins on the Rock on the River stage Friday night. Staats was excited to perform in the home town of his TV show vocal coach Shania Twain. He says he was nervous working with her because Shania was is first ever crush, but in the end it was an amazing experience.
Staats says since the show has ended he tries to stay in touch with Shania as mush as possible.
He says playing in her home town was a little surreal. Staats adds he is excited to see where things go from here, hopefully with a little help from Timmins’ country queen.
