Participark will jamming this weekend.
The Timmins Festival and Events Committee is transforming the park into a concert venue because Rock on the River kicks off two days of live music tomorrow afternoon. The weekend features Scott Helman, Walk Off the Earth, and Billy Talent. The committee says the goal of the festival is to promote art, culture, enhance community pride and boost local economy.
TFEC says it will kick off the event with a guitar smashing ceremony because a ribbon cutting isn’t their thing. Rock on the River will start at 5:00pm on tomorrow and 4:30pm of Saturday.
