Nominations are open for one more week for this fall’s municipal election.
Currently there are six councillor spots that need to be filled with only three people currently running including Dean Breathat, Claude Bourassa and Frank Sisco. There is one person running for English Public School Board Trustee, Dennis Draves and Clara McKinnon for French Public School Board Trustee. No one has put their names in for both the English and French Seperate School Board Trustee spots. Denis Clement is currently the only nominee for Mayor.
Nominations close on July 27th and you will be hitting the polls on October 22nd.
