Farmers market season is back.
The Cochrane Farmers Market has started, and another region one is opening today. The Timmins Downtown BIA’s Urban Park is officially open from today until the end of summer. The Urban Park runs on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
Executive Director Noella Rinaldo says this year things will be a little bit different this year with different themes for every week including the beach, super heroes and science.
Rinaldo says the market will typically be on Third Avenue, but rotate streets. She says this way it gets everyone in the community out during the summer.
