Having a Backstage Pass to Stars and thunder isn’t Just Glitz and Glam

Working backstage of a music festival isn’t all fun and games according to Mike Pintar.

As Manager of Hospitality for Stars and Thunder 2018, Pintar says working behind the stage gates is a lot of fun but also a lot of work. He says there is a group of five of them who made sure everything was running smooth and all set up for the artists in their dressing trailers.

Pintar says most days the crew is working almost 18 hour days everyday of the week. He says the group has to make sure all the small things the artists and bands request are perfect before they arrive. Pintar says this year a lot of bands were asking for more green options like real plates and cutlery instead of disposable ones. He says this year there weren’t too many weird requests.

Pintar says even thought it’s a long and busy week, it is a lot of fun to meet all the amazing people coming through the area over the week.
