A Northern Ontario grown singer is rocking the Stars and Thunder Stage.
Timmins own Celeste Levis played on the big stage for the second year in a row yesterday. Levis says it’s so nice to perform in her home town in front of friends and family.
She says this year is extra special because she got to open for one of the judges on the singing TV show that she competed Called La Voix. She says although Marc Dupre wasn’t her coach, it was still an amazing experience.
Levis says coming home also reminds her of all the local artists she has looked up to in her career. She says one big one was Shania Twain, but there are many others as well.
She says she loves to come home to support the community.
