The First Headliner for Stars and Thunder 2018 is Changed

St. Jean Baptiste Day’s Stars and Thunder headliner is being switched up.

The Stars and Thunder Festival Committee says Eric Lapointe will no longer be the main act for this Sunday night. The committee says Lapointe is taking a break from singing due to a case of Laryngitis. It says that he will need more time to heal the infection so he is pulling out of the festival.

The committee says Lapointe has worked with the committee to ensure a great act will be taking his place on Sunday. Marc Dupre will be taking the open spot. Dupre worked with Lapointe as a judge on the show La Voix as a judge.

The Stars and Thunder Festival Committee says it is excited to add Dupre to the lineup as one of the top touring francophone artists in Canada.
