A “Doable Community” project in Cochrane is a “Walker’s Club” that’s open to seniors. The club will be based out of the Tim Horton Event Centre. It could be sponsored by the Cochrane Board of Trade which would mean that walkers could stop by local businesses and get cards stamped earning points toward prizes. Members of town council think that the age should be set at 50 to get more people involved and healthy.
