Stars and Thunder will have water bottle refill stations this year.
The City of Timmins says MNP is sponsoring two hydration stations with one in the VIP and general admission stations. CAO Dave Landers says the city will be tapping the municipal water system into these hydration trailers so people can refill their bottles on demand.
Landers says you will be able to bring completely clear, empty, plastic water bottles into the festival grounds. He says steal water bottles and colour tinted bottles will not be allowed in. He says this is to ensure security would be able to easily check that each bottle is empty while entering the gates.
He says another reason in because this is an all ages event with alcohol on site. Landers says that security will be making sure no one is bringing alcohol onto the grounds and that minors aren’t drinking alcohol from a water bottle.
