As the long weekend kicks off, the OPP is reminding you to stay safe.
Police say officers will be patrolling the roads for distracted, aggressive and impaired driving. Constable Michelle Simard says officers won’t just be patrolling the roads, but also trails, lakes and rivers for ATV’s and boats.
Simard says police ill also be reminding drivers to pay attention to the move over law.
She says this is to make sure emergency crews have enough room to react to any collision or situation. Simard says police want to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun long weekend.
