A new Councillor has been sworn in and a new Municipal Clerk has been named by the town of Cochrane.
The pair of changes has been made within the past week, as Denis Clement has become the newest member of town council replacing Councillor Devon Prevost.
Meanwhile, Alice Mercier has replaced Jocelyne Pronovost as the Municipal Clerk for the town, moving from her former position of Administrative Assistant.
Mayor Peter Politis spoke about former Councillor Prevost at the most recent council meeting by detailing his dedication and commitment to the municipality over his time.
Politis also spoke about Clement, saying they are looking forward to the contributions he will make to their dedicated team.
The changes have been put into effect immediately.
