The Cochrane Public Library will be holding its 14th annual Easter Egg Hunt this weekend for local youth.

Acting Assistant to the CEO Ardis (ar-D) Proulx-Chedore (prew-el) (shay-door) says the event will see kids from infants through to the age of seven joining for story time and some face painting.

Proulx-Chedore says the hunt will involve some chocolate eggs as well as prizes for the kids and they will get to spend some time with the Easter bunny as well.

She also mentions that the Easter Balloon pop they are putting on is for ages eight and up, and will involve some prizes for those involved.

The CPL Easter Egg Hunt and Balloon Pop take place from 10:30am to 11:30am and from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.
