Saturday marked the 9th annual Tom Saul memorial ride in Cochrane. More than 100 snowmobilers congregated at the Polar Bear Habitat for the 45 kilometer charity run. Classic machines dating back to the 1930s joined sleds from today, raising money for the Lady Minto Chemo Unit. Tom Saul was a long time member of the Cochrane Vintage Snowmobile Club and lived long enough to participate in the very first ride ten years ago, before losing his battle with cancer. Since then, the club has remembered their friend by raising money for the fight against cancer each March.
