Ontario PC Party Leadership Hopeful’s Appearance Cancelled Due To Weather

An Ontario Progressive Conservative leadership hopeful was expected to make a visit to Northern Ontario Tuesday.

Caroline Mulroney was supposed to make an appearance in Kapuskasing at the Golf Club to speak about her decision to run for leader of the Ontario PC’s.

Mulroney was unable to attend due to the weather, and fellow PC MPP Norm Miller instead spoke in her place.

Miller says Mulroney will be a great leader because she has the drive to do what’s necessary.

He says she is in the race for the right reasons.

Currently, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli holds the interim leadership role for the party who will hold a leadership convention in early March.

The party says the voting period will be from March 2nd through 8th prior to their convention taking place on March 10th.
