The Cochrane Winter Carnival is in full swing. A heated, high scoring game between the Cochrane Crunch and the Hearst Lumberjacks resulted in a 9-6 loss for the Crunch. Kids had a great time at Queen Elizabeth Park tobogganing with Miss Chimo and her maidens, and Trinity Anglican Church hosted a successful Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper. The next wave of carnival action takes place tonight at the Tim Horton Event Center as the Cochrane OPP go head to head with the Cochrane Fire Department in a charity hockey game benefiting Muscular Dystrophy research.
