The Cochrane Detachment of the OPP has arrested a man on charges of theft and possession of controlled substances.
Police were called at 11:15am on Monday about electronics that had been stolen from the Cochrane Public Library.
Officers located the male suspect and were able to recover the stolen property as well as seize some controlled substances with an estimated street value of just over $100.
Police arrested the 28-year-old Cochrane man on seven charges, one of which was for theft and also five counts of possession.
The accused will appear in Cochrane court on March 15th.
