Kapuskasing is asking the public to lend its opinion on whether or not public transportation is a needed service.

The Kapuskasing community is in the midst of applying for a provincial grant to fund a public transportation service, but before they move forward they have hired a consultant to undertake a public study.

Wednesday the town made an official release on its website of a survey titled Inter-Community Transportation.

The 10 question survey will give residents of Kapuskasing and the surrounding area an opportunity to make their voices and opinions heard on the matter.

You can complete the survey online by going here.

Or you can pick up a physical copy of the survey from Town Hall.
