Cochrane’s Agricultural Society recently held their annual general meeting to discuss plans for 2018.
At the meeting, the society decided to complete their elections, selecting Valerie Chapleau as President for the new year.
At the AGM the society also discussed the possible expansion of the current community garden, as well as their present work on revamping the fair book for the year 2020.
The society says currently there are in the midst of putting a form up on their Facebook page to gain feedback from the community when it comes to improving the fair book in the coming years.
The society is also welcoming the community to join them as a member or to attend their regular monthly meetings at the Anglican Church, the next one is this Thursday.
