Parents looking to register their son or daughter for Kindergarten can do so with District School Board Ontario North East beginning in a weeks’ time.
A media release from DSB ONE Monday morning detailed the public boards’ registration process for their English and French Immersion schools.
Parents interested in enrolling their child at Diamond Jubilee Public School in Kapuskasing or any of the schools in Cochrane, Hearst, Iroquois Falls, Smooth Rock Falls or Timmins can do so online or in person.
Director of Education Lesleigh Dye says new this year will be online registration beginning on Monday, January 15th.
Dye says registering from home makes the process both easier and more convenient for the parents and guardians of first-time students.
Anyone looking to register their son or daughter in person can do so on Tuesday, January 23rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm at any local public school.
Dye says if you are not able to make the Tuesday date, they will be accepting in-person registrations on Wednesday as well.
