(WJC) Team Canada’s dominated the Czech Republic 7-2 last night at the World junior Championship to advance to tonight’s Gold medal game against Team Sweden. The Swedes beat Team USA 4-2 to advance.
(NHL) The Toronto Maple Leafs earned a 3-2 shootout win over the San Jose Sharks last night at the ACC. In other action the Montreal Canadiens ended a five-game losing streak with a 2-1 shoot out victory over the first-place Tampa Bay Lightning, Calgary edged LA 4-3 and Edmonton needed the shoot out for a 2-1 win over Anaheim.
