Snowmobile trails are slowly opening across the region.
The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs is opening trails as they become safe to use. You are being reminded to stick to the marked trails when you head out. The federation says you should also let people know when you plan on heading out and being back in case of an emergency.
Police say snowmobiles must stay on the trails and aren’t allowed on municipal roads and highways.
