(NFL) The Miami Dolphins stunned the New England Patriots’ 27-20 last night snapping the Pat’s eight-game winning streak. The Dolphins kept the Patriots from clinching their ninth consecutive AFC East title, at least for another week. Meanwhile the Philadelphia Eagles announced star quarterback Carson Wentz has a torn left ACL and will miss rest of the season and playoffs.
(NHL) Last night in the NHL, the Winnipeg Jets halted a three-game losing streak with a 5-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks, Colorado surprised Pittsburgh 2-1, the Islanders beat Washington 3-1, Dallas needed the shootout for a 2-1 win over the Rangers, Anaheim edged Carolina 3-2 and Florida got past Detroit 2-1 in overtime.
