The Northern Ontario Party says it’s making a difference for northerners even though it doesn’t have a single MPP. Party President Trevor Holliday says the mainstream parties are adopting its ideas meaning they’re worried the NOP can win seats. For example Holliday says the Liberals are expanding bus service in the north, which the party has argued for. Holliday says the Progressive Conservatives are also getting in on the act by getting rid of the cap and trade, promising not to close schools and restoring passenger rail service. He says these are all issues the NOP has championed.
