Police have arrested a man for stunt driving in and around the town of Hearst.
The Hearst Detachment of the OPP were called around 2:30pm to Highway 11 in Studholme Township because of a speeding vehicle in bad weather.
Officers say they were called to the scene after witnesses noticed that the driver was travelling more than double the speed limit.
Police arrested and charged the 24-year-old Manitoba native with one count of racing a motor vehicle as well as one charge of excessive speed.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Hearst court on January 9th, 2018 to answer to the charges.
