(NBA)  The Toronto Raptors ran to a 129-113 win over the Houston Rockets last night.  DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points for Toronto while Houston’s James Harden had 38 points and made 19 of 19 foul shots for the Rockets, who ended a six-game winning streak.

(NHL)  The Columbus Blue Jackets edged the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 in overtime last night. In other action, Winnipeg beat Arizona 4-1, Vancouver skated to a 3-2 win over LA while Edmonton crushed the Vegas Golden knights 8-2, off the ice the Oilers acquired centre Mike Cammalleri from the Los Angeles Kings  in exchange for forward Jussi Jokinen.

(MLB)  Paul Molitor has won the American League Manager of the Year award after his Minnesota Twins became the first team to make the playoffs following a 100-loss season. In the National League Torey Lovullo of the Arizona Diamondbacks In his first full season as a big league manager won after Arizona reached the playoffs a year after going 69-93.
