(NHL) The Toronto Maple Leafs skated to a 4-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild last night for their second straight win. Toronto was outshot 37-19. In other action the New York Rangers doubled the Boston Bruins 4-2 and Tampa bay thumped San Jose 5-1.
Team Canada opened the Karjala Cup in Biel, Switzerland with a 3-2 win over Switzerland as Canada continues to prepare for the Winter Olympics in South Korea this February.
The United States women’s hockey team beat Canada 4-2 last night at the Four Nations Cup. It’s the second time in three games the US has beat Canada, and they are set to meet again Sunday in the cup championship.
