(NHL) The Montreal Canadiens ended their seven-game losing skid with a 5-1 win over the Florida Panthers last night. In other action the Los Angeles Kings needed the shootout to defeat the Ottawa Senators 3-2, Pittsburgh edged Edmonton 2-1 in overtime, Vancouver shut out Minnesota 1-0 and Calgary beat Nashville 3-2 in a shootout.
