(NBA) The Toronto Raptors opened their season by thumping the Chicago Bulls 117-100. Jonas Valanuciunas led Toronto with 23 points and 15 rebounds.
(MLB) Kike Hernandez homered three times and drove in seven runs, as the Los Angeles Dodgers crushed the Chicago Cubs 11-1 last night to reach the World Series for the first time since 1988.The Dodgers will wait to face either the New York Yankees or Houston Astros.
(NFL) The Oakland Raiders snapped a four-game losing streak and stunned the Kansas City Chiefs with a 31-30 last second victory last night. Raiders QB Derek Carr threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree on the final play after the game was extended by two straight defensive holding calls. The Chiefs Alex Smith threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns but it wasn’t enough for the Chiefs as they lost consecutive games for the first time since Oct. of 2015.
