Local health partners are teaming up to host a health fair for older adults.
The Porcupine Health Unit is working with groups such as the Cochrane District Social Planning Council, NeoNet and Misiway to provide healthcare information to the older population.
Public Health Nurse Patrick Nowak says this is part of making the city a more age-friendly community.
Nowak says there will also be a number of speakers throughout the day.
Booths and speakers will be set up at Transfiguration Church in Cochrane on October 30th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
