Improving the lives of community members across the region is the focus of this year’s United Way Centraide North East Ontario annual campaign.
The campaign launched yesterday and aims help all 350 thousand residents in the region.
Regional Navigator Jennifer Gorman says this year the campaign will run for a full year, and it has two pieces to it.
Gorman says the money will go towards funding for local charities, projects, and future partnerships.

She adds that all the money raised locally will stay in the community.
