Math will continue to be a primary focus for District School Board Ontario North East.
This according to Director of Education Lesleigh Dye, after she took a look at the Education Quality and Accountability Office results for 2017.
Dye says this year’s goal is to bring up the percentage of students to the provincial standard.
She says the district will continue to put an emphasis in the math classrooms.
Dye adds that the district wants students to be curious, creative and collaborative about their learning in math, reading, and writing.
