A second round of Stars and Thunder is a go.
Timmins City Council approved the 8-day festival with a just over five point seven million dollar budget.
Mayor Steve Black says now the festival committee can get together and go over what needs to change form last year and what they can start planning.
Black says this year’s planning will be different because all the ground work is done from this year’s event.
The festival will run from June 24th to July 1st to include both Jean Baptiste and Canada Day.
