A Cochrane man is being charged with impaired driving after being towed from a swamp in the township of East Ferris.
The OPP were advised of a vehicle in a ditch on Centennial Crescent in East Ferris Township around 8:05pm back on Friday, August 4th.
Police were able to locate the vehicle and the driver who had sustained no injuries and was traveling alone at the time of the incident.
As a result, officers have charged the 31-year-old Cochrane man with one count of driving while impaired and one count of driving under the influence.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court in North Bay on September 5th of this year.
