The North East LHIN has appointed a new director.
Kim Morris of Sudbury has been named the new director of the NE LHIN as of this afternoon.
NE LHIN Chair Ron Farrell says that Morris has been an advocate for French language services and has helped improve the health of francophone communities within the region.
Farrell says Morris will bring a background in home and community care and will provide a much-needed link to post-secondary education because of her connections as former Dean of Health Sciences at Boreal.

Morris says she looks forward to working on behalf of all northerners to ensure patients have access to quality health care.
In her role of director, she will oversee and advise the direction and priorities of the LHIN.
