Kennedy: FedNor has Done a Great Job, But it can do Better

Expanding the role of FedNor is something the Green Party’s Max Kennedy says is a priority.

Kennedy says a one-size-fits-all approach for the massive area represented by FedNor may not be the best way to go about it.

Max Kennedy is running against the NDP’s Charlie Angus, the Liberal’s Todd Lever and the Conservative’s John Curley.

Kennedy says areas like Kirkland Lake and Cochrane are involved in mining while more northern communities are geared more towards woodland and lumber.

Kennedy says FedNor has done a great job here in the north but says it could do better.

The federal election is set for October 19th.
