There are a few small changes coming to the Hearst Forest this year.
The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry along with Hearst Forest Management Incorporated have invited the public to review their draft contingency plan for the forest.
They are also holding an information session in regards to their contingency plan and its required alterations at the Hearst Heritage Saw Mill from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on June 14th.
This will also be the final overview of the plan prior to the MNRF approving the inspected plan which has been scheduled for August 23rd, 2017.
