Kapuskasing has approved one last sizeable donation to Remi Ski Hill until at least 2021.
The ski hill in Moonbeam is receiving a lump-sum of $40,000 from the town of Kapuskasing which will cover the next four years of funding.
Chair of the Finance Committee of Kapuskasing Dave Plourde says the decision to give a one-time donation was to avoid long-term spending.
He says that giving a one-time donation helps the town with their budget.
He also says doing the one-time donation means that they can better keep track of what the money will be used for by the ski hill moving forward.
