Larabie’s Independent Grocer in Kapuskasing was part of a special moment between store and community.
According to Owner of Larabie’s Grocer Emmanuelle Larabie, the store celebrated more than simply Mother’s Day on Sunday afternoon.
Larabie says they were selected this year by the Loblaw’s corporation as one of 100 stores to perform the market moment, something they never thought possible.
She says the best part of performing the market moment is giving back to the customers that they see and connect with every day.
Larabie says the store went on hold for a moment around 1:00pm to alert customers currently at the checkout that their grocery bill would be covered for up to $250.
She says if the opportunity arises they are more than willing to be part of another Loblaw’s market moment every year if possible.
