(NBA)  The Toronto Raptors finally beat the Chicago Bulls. DeMar DeRozan scored 42 points as the Raptors came back to beat Chicago 122-120 in overtime last night. Toronto had lost the last 11 games against the Bulls going back to December 2013.

(NHL)  Last night in the NHL, Ottawa edged Boston 3-2, Washington doubled Calgary 4-2, Vancouver needed overtime for a 5-4 win over Chicago, Winnipeg beat Philadelphia 3-2 and Detroit skated to a 2-1 victory over Montreal in overtime.

(MLB)  The Blue Jays beat Baltimore 5-2 in Grapefruit League action yesterday. Off the field  Jays manager John Gibbons has been offered a 2 year contract extension that he is expected to accept today.

(WBC)  The United States reached the WBC final for the first time by beating Japan 2-1 last night at Dodger Stadium. The U.S. will play Puerto Rico for the championship tonight.

(curling)  Canada continues to be perfect at the women’s world curling championship. Skip Rachel Homan remains unbeaten and sits atop the standings after a 9-8 win over South Korea and an 8-2 drubbing of Scotland yesterday. Canada is 7 and 0 and could clinch a playoff spot today.
