(NHL)  Tyler Bozak scored with just under 2 minutes left to play and the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Boston Bruins 4-2 last night. In other action Edmonton blanked LA 2-0, Buffalo edged Detroit 2-1, Dallas shut out San Jose 1-0 and Nashville skated to a 3-1 win over Arizona.

(WBC)   Last night at the World Baseball Classic Puerto Rico scored the winning run in the 11th inning to beat the Netherlands 4-3. Puerto Rico will play either Japan or the United States for the title on Wednesday night in LA.

(MLB)  The Blue Jays Josh Donaldson made his spring training debut yesterday, going 0 for 2 with a walk in his first game since injuring his right calf more than a month ago. Toronto lost 8-2 to Minnesota.

(Curling)  Canada is  on top of the standings at the world women’s curling championship. Canada’s Rachel Homan rallied to a 9-8 win over South Korea earlier this morning, putting Canada at a perfect 6-0 record in the round-robin portion of the tournament.
