This Sunday is Timmins Winter Hiking Day. People are invited to the Hersey Lake Conservation Area to join in the sixth annual event.
It’s a free family event that starts at noon with a winter survival presentation from Timmins Porcupine Search and Rescue. Then at 12:30 PM a “winter ecology” guided hike will takes people on a journey through the Conservation Area.
