Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli wants high schools to teach students financial literacy. And he’s working on a Private Member’s Bill to make financial literacy compulsory beginning with Grade 10. Fedeli says students need to learn how to handle financial matters responsibly. For example he says they need to know what happens when you miss a single cell phone payment. Fedeli says teaching students about money helps them avoid financial problems in the future.
