The original Tim Horton hockey banner that’s hanging at the ACC will be returning to Cochrane. The banner has been in Toronto since the 1990’s, but the Leafs organization will be creating 17 new banners for former players and returning the originals to the hockey stars home towns. Horton was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1977 after being named a six time All-Star. On top of the banner raising ceremony the Cochrane Crunch will host the first ever Polar Bear Classic tournament with the Crunch playing at 7:30.
